What I’m building with AI

I work where AI, business strategy and practical execution meet. My focus is not AI for its own sake. It is using AI to make work clearer, faster, more useful and more human.

My day job is Finance analytics at Cox. Away from it I take on outside work with organizations and individuals whose privacy matters, so I describe problems and systems here, not clients.

The human-verification step is deliberate: I would rather ship something smaller that I trust than something impressive that I cannot defend.

Where I focus

AI strategy and opportunity discovery

From "we should be doing something with AI" to a focused roadmap: high-value use cases, what should and should not be automated, and early experiments tied to real goals.

Intelligent workflow automation

Workflows that gather, organize, draft, route and summarize while keeping people in control, so they have more time for judgment, creativity and relationships.

AI assistants and agents

Assistants that work with instructions, tools, documents and structured processes, and complete multi-step work while staying observable, reviewable and supervised.

Organizational knowledge systems

Better organization, search and retrieval, and grounded question-and-answer experiences, so scattered knowledge becomes repeatable capability.

Research, synthesis and decision support

Collect, compare, summarize and surface patterns to give people a stronger starting point for the decisions that need experience.

Content and communication systems

Turning ideas, notes and source material into outlines, proposals and updates, in the person’s real voice instead of generic content.

Rapid prototypes and experiments

Lightweight working demos that reveal what a concept needs, where it may fail, and what production would take, before real money is committed.

Responsible AI adoption

Privacy, data handling, accuracy, human review and security as part of the design, with guardrails people can understand.

How I work

I start with the problem, the people and the outcome that matters, then decide whether AI is the right tool and how much complexity is justified.

  1. Understand the work as it happens today.
  2. Identify the highest-value opportunity and the important constraints.
  3. Build the smallest useful version.
  4. Test it with real examples and human review.
  5. Improve reliability, usability and safeguards.
  6. Document the process so it can be understood and maintained.

I value clarity over hype, useful outcomes over impressive demos, and systems that support people rather than obscure or replace their judgment.

What I can help with

  • AI opportunity assessments and roadmaps
  • Workflow analysis and automation design
  • Custom AI assistants and agent-based workflows
  • Knowledge search and document-based question answering
  • Research and synthesis systems
  • AI-supported content and communication workflows
  • Rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept development
  • Evaluation, testing and human-review processes
  • Responsible-use guidelines and practical team enablement

Let’s build something useful

You do not need a technical specification. A recurring bottleneck, an underdeveloped idea, or a process that no longer scales is often enough to begin.
